We will also make a custom easel for your standee. Easels are made with a foam-core material and are shaped to support your standee.
For setting up artwork for a Life Size Cutout, it is essential to ensure that the artwork is prepared at its actual size or scaled proportionally.
The dimensions should feature a maximum width of 48 inches multiplied by the desired height. Additionally, incorporating a cutline into the design is crucial. Creating Standee Art Work File
If you’re unable to create a print-ready file because you don’t have the necessary software, you can easily design your artwork and we will create your print ready file. You can expect to receive an email proof from the graphics department approximately 1-2 hours after you have placed your order, as long as it is within our regular business hours, which are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders submitted outside of these hours will be processed and a proof will be sent within 1-2 hours after we resume operations.
Unfortunately, producing a double-sided life-size cutout is not possible. The primary reason is that the easel backing, essential for supporting the cutout, obscures the majority of the reverse side. Additionally, our construction technique involves hinging the sign, which complicates the addition of an image on the back. If attempted, any graphic on the rear would not only be obscured by the easel, but also the banner tape used to secure the hinge, further diminishing its visibility and effectiveness.
Standee’s Longevity
Regarding the durability of standee’s material, they are highly suitable for temporary applications outdoors and can be used indefinitely indoors if maintained well. The graphic is not mounted to the sign material. Instead, it is printed directly onto the board using UV inks that are of high quality. However, direct printing on the material can yield equally high-quality results without the need for mounting.
