Shapes And Sizes
The most common shapes for tablecloths are round, square, oval, and oblong, or rectangular, corresponding to the most common table shapes. However trade show table throws, or table cloths, are made for only two standard size tables. Standard size tradeshow table throws are either 8 feet wide table or 6 feet wide table and they both are 30 inches wide. Table throws or tablecloths usually have an overhang, referred to as the “drop.” The drop is generally 6 to 15 inches (15 to 38 cm) on each side of the table, with a shorter drop for casual dining and a longer drop for more formal occasions. Sometimes a floor-length cloth is used. Custom-made tablecloths are also available. Most common fit for tradeshow table throws are open sides and back. Trade show tables are always 30 inches off ground, so for example if you have a 6 feet tradeshow tables, your tradeshow table throw size would be 72 inches wide by 60 inches tall that also includes the floor length, open sides. Closed sides size will be 132 inches by 60 inches.
